UK CBI retail sales remain at -17 in Jun; Pound eases
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK CBI retail sales volume has remained unchanged from May, at a balance of -17 between shoppers reporting higher sales in June and those experiencing sales below the average level for this time of the year.
The expectations for next month have deteriorated to a balance of -21 points, according to the latest survey by the Confederation of British Industry.
GBP/USD has eased from levels right below 1.6600, minutes after CBI retail sales data was released, the Pound fell to levels at 1.6550.
