U.S.: Wage bill expands again in August
U.S. Watch The U.S. economy is starting to grow again but job creation continues to elude. The just- released BLS employment report showed payrolls contracting 216,000 in August following a drop of 276,000 in July (revised from 247,000). The good news is that job losses are subsiding and that despite the negative revisions to the job numbers of the two previous months, purchasing power is still improving.
