Metals regain ground as dollar loses traction
London, 26 June 2009 - The precious complex has trading modestly higher over the past 24-hours as the dollar lost ground after the Fed announced it would keep rates low and maintain its current stimulus programme. Gold posted a gain of 0.8% and has pushed to a two-week high above $944 this morning, the PGMs have been in a strong mood with palladium closing up 3.4% while platinum gained 2.8% and has rallied above $1200/oz overnight.
