Dollar Rises Vs. Majors
The U.S economy released its annualized advanced GDP reading showing that the contraction narrowed to -1.0% from the revised prior reading of -6.4% from -5.5% while the markets were projecting a contraction of -1.5 percent. This data although was upbeat should have weighed on the dollar as investors started buying higher yielding currencies and selling lower yielding currencies, but this did not happen as now technical movements are overcoming the markets.
